About Me

Hi, I’m Holly Schofield, the face behind Lash Lock & Arch.

I’m 31, a mum of two incredible little boys, and a fully qualified beauty technician specialising in hair extensions, lash extensions, and brow treatments. I’m also a full-time carer to both of my sons, who are autistic and non-verbal, which has shaped not only my life but the way I run my business.

I first started my journey in the beauty industry at just 21 years old, training in lashes and brows and instantly falling in love with the confidence boost these treatments give my clients. After taking some time away, I found my way back to lashes and brows while I was pregnant with my first son — and that’s when everything truly clicked.

After having my eldest and discovering his additional needs, it became clear that returning to traditional employment wasn’t an option for me. Due to the complexity of my children’s needs, I’ve been unable to secure childcare that can safely support them. Instead of giving up, I chose to think outside the box and build a career that works around my family and my lifestyle.

In September 2025, I expanded my skills and trained in hair extensions, where I found my true passion. My absolute favourite method — and now my speciality — is nano ring extensions. I love how discreet, lightweight, and versatile they are, and I pride myself on creating natural-looking, confidence-boosting results tailored to each client.

I now run a home-based salon, allowing me to welcome clients into a comfortable, relaxed space while still being present for my children. Because of this, I do offer late evening and unsociable-hour appointments, once my boys are settled in bed — something I genuinely love and feel grateful to be able to do.

Beauty isn’t just my job; it’s my passion, my creative outlet, and my way of building a future that works for my family. Every client who sits in my chair is trusted with care, attention, and honesty — and I’m so proud of the community I’m creating.
